HYTEZ Hardness / Alkalinity Analyser
The HYTEZ Hardness / Alkalinity Analyser is an on-line analyser that automatically recognizes and warns of the increase in water hardness / alkalinity in a water preparation system. Total Hardness is the sum of calcium and magnesium in water, expressed as calcium carbonate. Hardness can cause issues such as scaling in pipes and appliances, leading to difficulties in cleaning. Total Alkalinity refers to the total amount of substances in water that can neutralize strong acids. It is primarily composed of carbonates, bicarbonates, and hydroxides.

The HYTEZ Hardness /Alkalinity Analyser is an on-line analyser for the automatic monitoring of water parameters by the colorimetric test method. Following the introduction of reagent into the water sample, a colour reaction occurs. With this information the analyser calculates the concentration of the chemical content. The unit can only monitor one parameter. The method and the measurement range are determined by the reagent.

Low Reagent Consumption & Low Maintenance – The analyser requires only one reagent and one bottle can have up to 9,000 measurements depending on concentration. Automatic flushing after each measurement cycle is user programmable between 15sec to 30min to ensure good accuracy and repeatability.
Different measurement range from 0.2mg/L to 530mg/L CaCO3 as Hardness or 5.4mg/l to 2050mg/l CaCO3 as Alkalinity is achievable by different reagent range to ensure high measurement accuracy. Only one reagent is needed for analysis.
Intelligent Display and Data Export
Informative display giving you measured value, remaining reagent, alarm and relay status as well as configuration wizard during start-up. Measurement data and system errors can be export out via memory card in excel format for easy data analysis
